Argonauts is an independent production company founded in 2003 by Panos Papahadzis and based in Athens. The company develops and produces original feature films and TV series, provides production services for international projects (including access to Greece’s 40% cash rebate program) and participates in international co-productions.

Working across more than 15 countries, Argonauts collaborates with both emerging and established filmmakers, building a strong international presence. Its projects have premiered at major festivals including Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Rotterdam, Toronto, and Busan, as well as other leading international festivals, and have been distributed globally by partners such as NEON, HBO Europe, and Amazon, with support from leading institutions including Eurimages and Creative Europe.
